The Airfield opened in 1990 and operates 2 grass runways of 700Mtrs and 530Mtrs
respectively, open year round.
EASA Flight Training and associated ratings along with Club Rental are available on site, with one of our qualified instructors and on site examiners.

With PPR, visiting aircraft should establish radio contact on the local frequency 118.125. Please note this is not always manned, but radio calls indicating intentions should still be made.

Now that we have your attention, please note that Navan Airfield is an ACTIVE Dairy farm with livestock.
There are no animals kept on the runways, however approaching pilots should overfly and make sure the runways are clear before intending to land.
Dairy Cows are not disturbed by aircraft, however visiting pilots should be aware of the considerations and dangers when visiting any farm. Please make sure to keep to the main driveways and refrain from venturing into unknown locations without permission.
Be responsible and keep any
kids with you safe around the farm animals and machinery. Farms are not
playgrounds. By following some simple safety recommendations, your
experience at Navan Airfield can be a safe and enjoyable one. If you
